Windies hit back with a Louis fifty.

In the second session of the first day of the Test in Antigua, Taijul Islam bowled out Kabem Hodge, who had missed out with 25 against Bangladesh, and Windies opener Mikhail Lewis smashed a fifty to end the partnership as the hosts fought back  to reach 113 for three. Between Hodge and Lewis for the third wicket. The pacer worked the ball  in the second session, despite a few near misses with the bat, but no further wickets fell. While only one over of spin was bowled in the first session, Taijul and Mehedi Hasan Miraz accounted for the majority of the overs in the second session. Left-hander Alick Athanadze lived dangerously and attempted some rash shots. A wild shot nearly blew him away, but Takine couldn't quite judge the trajectory of the ball as it fell just a few feet away. Meanwhile, Louis, despite withstanding stiff pressure from  the Bangladesh past trio, looked frighteningly relaxed with the bat and remained unbeaten on 71 off 166 deliveries. Earlier, Taskin had taken both  the wickets that fell in the first session.
